Durmakans

The durmakans are horned birds. They resemble a crow in shape and color, although they are twice as large as a crow. They may scare you when you encounter them for the first time, but they are not dangerous. Their horns are used to protect against predators. They would never use it to attack innocent animals or humans.

Durmakans are migratory birds, but they do not live in flocks and do not follow fixed migration routes. They go where the wind takes them.

For the Oclipans, they are sacred birds that are forbidden to hunt. They believe that the durmakans are the emissaries of the wind (Voo). He carries them with his gusts to wherever he wants them to go, but even without his help, they can fly great distances. They are very intelligent and know how to overcome dangers. We also have evidence that they can speak human language.

In Ineha folklore, they are mentioned as good animals that help people in times of trouble. One of them, named Kayoor, helped Olm find his daughter, who had run away from home. The full story is here.
