The city began as a small village founded by a group of refugees led by Gonia, the daughter of King Netzer-Alissa. Slowly, the village grew to develop into a large, bustling city.
At the time Ademon visited, there were two classes in the city: the upper class, the Dons, and the working class, the Veds. The upper class lived in the center of the city in a place called Tarum (tower). The working class lived in the suburbs called Kura.
The Kura was divided into two areas, the living area of the working people called the Vaya and the living area of the mancofs called Sukan.
The Tarum was actually a complex of interconnected skyscrapers. They essentially formed a single structure isolated from its external environment. The temperature inside was constant throughout the year. Inside, a conveying system operated. It has conveyor belts, escalators, and elevators that synchronize with each other to transport people and goods from place to place. Its complex machinery was maintained and operated by the Veds,
From Admon’s testimony: “It was as if we were swallowed by a great machine. A large conveyor belt quickly drove us inside. Large gears made of brass and bronze revolved around us. Escalators moved people between the different levels. Transparent elevators in the form of a capsule took them to the upper floors of the towers above us or took them down to the ground floor. This system is very quiet. It works flawlessly, everything seems to be perfectly timed.”
