Meagmies (Meagma Diggers): a species of gnome. Their average height is about two feet. They have large ears and a slightly pointed face, and can see in complete darkness. They know how to dig in the ground quickly and efficiently.
In the past, quite a few of this type lived here. There are several testimonies from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries that describe them consistently and accurately. They are almost always seen near caves in Europe and North America. Today, it is very rare to meet them. Apparently, they fled from here to Ineha at the beginning of the First World War. It is said that the blasts of the cannons scared them.
